This festival is free to attend and boasts live music, basketball, family fun, outdoor yoga, an outdoor movie night and more. This year’s event will be moving from White Park to downtown Concord—outside the state house.

Friday, August 11 will be a basketball filled day with pop-up courts on Main Street. It will include youth 3X3 basketball tournaments, a free basketball clinic hosted by Matt Bonner and Luke Bonner and a unified basketball game between Concord High School and Merrimack Valley High School. The night will be capped off with an outdoor movie featuring Space Jam on the state house lawn.

Saturday, August 12 will have adult 3X3 basketball tournaments on the Main Street courts, followed by the Midsummer Classic in the evening—featuring the boys and girls basketball teams from Concord High School, Bishop Brady High School, Merrimack Valley High School and Pembroke Academy. On the state house lawn, things will kick off in the afternoon with family fun and a performance by local kindie music star Mr. Aaron. The kids jam will be followed with a free outdoor yoga session. The day will be capped off with performances from Laura Stevenson (NY), Holly Miranda (NY), Photocomfort (MA) and Tough Guy (NH). Intown Concord is also coordinating downtown shops to host their annual sidewalk sale throughout the day.

In addition to the weekend’s festivities, Revival Kitchen & Bar and Throwback Brewery will be hosting a ticketed fundraising beer dinner for Rock On Foundation on Tuesday, August 8th. Throwback Brewery will be releasing a limited-edition Rock On Fest Saison and distributing it to select restaurants and bars in the weeks leading up to the festival.

This event would not be possible without generous support from Lincoln Financial Group, GYK Antler, Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack), Concord Orthopaedics, Grappone Automotive Group, Delta Dental, White Park Dental, NBA Cares, Red River Theatres, Frank Monahan Foundation, Living Yoga New Hampshire, and lululemon.
